The Racehorse Inn Bed and Breakfast in Cornwall offers delightful,comfortable,characterful B&B accommodation with outstanding emphasis on good homemade food and local Cornish fare.Dogs are welcome.


Delightfully situated at the foot of Hawks Tor in the heart of outstanding Cornish countryside,you will find "The Racehorse Inn" in the pretty village of North Hill.

An excellent base for discovering Cornwall and Devon. This peaceful spot is close to the A30. Cornwall's major access route. Close by is Launceston and Callington,Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor,The Eden Project and National Marine Aquarium.Both North and South coasts are within easy reach.

The Racehorse Inn is believed to be over 300 years old.Originally built as a school for local children,it was purchased from The Diocese of Truro in 1964 to convert into a country inn.

The pub has been sympathetically restored by Robbie and Pat,who bought the inn in 2003. Emphasis on easy access for the disabled,Separate dining room,comfortable beamed lounge and bar area with open log fire.Outside there is a south facing beer garden with large decking area incorparating the dining terrace,and large car park.

Our B&B is more relaxed than a hotel and has more to offer than a guest house.A short walk and you will find the beautifull river Lyhner with magnificent forrests and wildlife.
